Chain Fast/Road Food Reviews
As someone with two teen-agers and a five-year-old, we tend to eat a lot of fast food when we are traveling, and I know there are a lot of other folks out there in the same boat. Sometimes you just want to try new things, but how do you know what's good or bad, especially if it's a chain you aren't familiar with? To help all of us with that particular quandry out, the evil Sam Graham (hey, that's his own label for himself, not mine!) has brought us tesg's guide to big chain road food consumption. Very personal, but no punches are pulled and the basis for each evalution is very clearly explained. Categories are quirky (I would have put Steak & Shake under burgers and Tim Horton's under donuts) so you may have to search for the chain you're looking for. Missing (guess he hasn't eaten there yet...): Baha Fresh under Mexican; In-N-Out Burger and Whataburger under Burgers; Cracker Barrel, Old Country Buffet and Bob Evans under Family-Buffet-Diners; Pizza Hut under Pizza (says he can't stand it in another review); and Dunkin Donuts under Donuts.
